Parent's Night Out: A Time for Out on the Town

Saturday, February 11th
5pm-10pm
Cost: $25 first child, $20 second child, $15 third child and all there after Ages 3-12yrs

Childcare includes:

  • Dinner: pizza, fruit and drinks
  • Special art projects
  • Activities such as tumbling and dancing
  • Themes for each month
  • Movies

Family Swim Time

Monday - Friday 3:30pm-5pm
Saturday and Sunday 11am-2pm

Family swim is open to members and their immediate family.

Guests will be charged the regular rate with members $15, walk-in $20.

Aqua Fit: An energetic action packed full body workout for all levels. Increase strength , range of motion and cardio vascular endurance with low impact movements. Using the newest equipment and specific techniques designed for water exercise.

Arthritis Therapy: A gentle aqua exercise class designed for people with arthritis and related conditions. Increase strength, mobility, flexibility, and range of motion. Progress in the aquatic activities can lead to independence and improved self esteem.

Masters Swimming: Swimming workouts made to challenge swimmers at all levels. Workouts will include a variety of aerobic base interval sets, anaerobic threshold sets, and lactate production/tolerance sets. Each workout will allow you to swim a variety of strokes according to your desire and preference, expanding your technique and knowledge of swimming. Workouts are between 2,000-3,500 yards.


Swim Lesson Level Descriptions:

Parent & Baby: Baby (6-18 months) will be exposed to the water and daily parent water accompaniment with child is required. Swim Diaper is required. Parents will be taught songs, holds and safe techniques that will help the parent & baby feel comfortable in the water and encourage babies and parents to enjoy the water together.

Tiny Bubbles: Baby (12-30 months) will be exposed to the water and daily parent water accompaniment required for the timid swimmers. Swim Diaper is required. Young swimmers (12-30 months) will be taught independence from parent, arm and leg movement, how to hold their breath, blowing bubbles, and assisted floating.

Aqua Tot: Swimmers must be at least 2 ½ years old to participate in this class. Swimmers not yet potty trained are required to wear a swim diaper. Swimmers will be taught to be comfortable in the water while getting their entire body wet, submerging face, bob in and out of the water, and climbing out of the pool.

Level 1: Pre-requisite: demonstration of Aqua Tot skills.
Swimmer will be taught how to blow bubbles with face submerged, streamlines, flutter kicking, front and back floats, and feet first water entries.

Level 2: Pre-requisite: completion of Level 1.
Swimmers will be taught to open eyes under water, proper use of a kickboard, side breathing, treading water, and basic pool rules.

Level 3: Pre-requisite: completion of Level 2.
Swimmers will be taught to swim under and above water, Freestyle, basic rescue skills, forward somersaults, Breaststroke kick, and beginning Backstroke.

Stroke Technique: Pre-requisite: completion of Level 3.
Swimmers will be taught Freestyle turns, dolphin kick, Backstroke, beginning Breaststroke, beginning shallow dives, build swimming strength.

Stroke School: Pre-requisite: completion of Stroke Technique.
Swimmers will be taught Breaststroke, backstroke turns, shallow diving, and beginning Butterfly.

Other Aquatic Amenities include:

Moms in Motion: Pre/post natal classes

Moms in Motion is a fitness program designed to prepare women for the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy and postpartum. Develop stamina, increase strength, and restore muscle tone after the baby is born, and you will more easily be able to handle the rigors of motherhood. We'll combine low impact aerobics and toning exercises (some classes may include yoga, pilates, and water aerobics) for a total fitness program perfect for both pregnant and post partum women. This program provides not only a safe and effective exercise regimen, but also valuable information on nutrition, pregnancy, post partum, and child safety.

This circuit training class is designed to increase your heart rate by rotating through a variety of exercises. By keeping your heart rate up, you will build muscular endurance and muscle tone. Workouts will involve all major muscles of the body, which will help increase your metabolism and burn fat. This program uses a variety of equipment and is recommended for all fitness levels.

The Pilate reformer and Bosu will be used for challenge in a circuit setting for 30 minutes to improve core strength and stability, strengthen abdominals, oblique and back muscles in a variety of exercises and increase flexibility. Class maximum limit is 4.
